EA's
As an EA, feedback is also great... it's fantastic to hear what you're doing right, but equally important to hear if you're doing anything that bogs things up, or anything that you're NOT doing that would be appreciated...!
Gatekeepers
EAs have got to have a good balance between protecting their boss and making him available. Too many EAs are gatekeepers (like watchdogs) to the extent of doing damage to the company.
